Every follow, share, and donation helps us run stronger community streams and raise more for each year's beneficiary organization.

Donations run through Zeffy year-round. During the marathon your gift goes to that year's beneficiary; outside it, your gift supports New Day Charity directly.

For your donation to appear on stream in real time, please use a credit or debit card. ACH/bank transfers may take several days to process.

New Day Charity is a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 42-2803821). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a donation receipt by email.

How Donations Work

One donation flow, two purposes.

Donations made during the marathon are designated for that year's beneficiary. Donations made at any other time support New Day Charity directly, covering equipment, software, hosting, and the infrastructure behind the events.

Our tax-exempt status is effective retroactively to April 17, 2026, so all donations made to New Day Charity on or after that date are tax-deductible.

Where does the money go?

Zeffy does not charge payment processing fees, so more of what you give reaches its intended purpose. At checkout you may be shown an optional contribution to Zeffy itself, which is entirely your choice and separate from your donation to New Day Charity.
