A small team with one big week each year.
New Day Charity is an all-volunteer, community-run fundraising organization born out of the Twitch streaming community. Since 2022, we have hosted monthly community streams and one focused multi-day annual fundraiser, all dedicated to a single beneficiary each year.

How We Started
New Day Charity began in 2022 as a group of friends who wanted to do something meaningful together. What started as a single charity stream grew into a recurring tradition: monthly streams to keep the community connected and one annual multi-day fundraiser to rally around a cause.
In 2025, that tradition raised $5,555.55 for the National Immigration Law Center. In 2026, we are directing our annual fundraiser toward the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation.

The Team
New Day Charity is entirely volunteer-run. Every member of our team donates their time to plan, produce, and stream these events. We show up because we believe in what this community can do together.
Our small board of volunteers spans the US and Canada, handling everything from stream production and technology to nonprofit governance and outreach. New Day Charity is incorporated as a New York not-for-profit organization.
How We Operate
We run on an annual campaign model: host monthly community streams year-round, select a beneficiary organization, run a focused multi-day annual fundraiser, and share final totals with the community once the campaign closes.
New Day Charity operates as a pass-through fundraising organization. Campaign donations are directed to the selected beneficiary, minus applicable processing fees. Our bylaws allow the organization to retain a small, reasonable percentage of donations for operational costs such as equipment, software, and infrastructure, though we have not yet exercised that option.
